How we work
Each tapestry is thoughtfully crafted using layered textiles to create a subtle 3D effect. We work with carefully balanced combinations of color, texture, and materials to achieve visual depth and softness. The textile construction not only enriches the design, but also enhances the acoustics ofthe space.
Who we are
The tapestries are created by Mia & Louise, who bring a long history in fashion design and have now devoted their energy and passion to the world of interiors. We met at The Danish School of Design in 2001 and have been collaborating ever since, united by a shared vision to create art and design with aesthetic charm and playful visual expression, a vision that continues
to guide our work today.
We have a passion for imperfection and the quirkiness of life, and we love the small details in art and design that make us smile. We often add a dash of humor, believing that life can sometimes take itself too seriously and is always better when approached with a more playful perspective.
Sustainability
By using overstock fabrics, we give new life to beautiful materials in an entirely new way,transforming them into unique pieces for your walls and spaces. Each tapestry is carefully crafted in Europe from selected fabrics and produced in a limited edition of no more than eight pieces per artwork.
Furthermore, thanks to the textile materials they are made from, the tapestries also offer acoustic benefits. We aim to delight both the eyes and
the ears: the soft textiles create a warm,
atmospheric presence while enhancing the
acoustics of the space.
